Originally built in 1929 by Serafin Cirigliano, a Colombian born engineer working for Bellanca Aircraft. Designed as a scaled down Curtis Hawk powered by a 90hp Curtiss OX-5 engine, the aircraft became know as the Baby Hawk. Modified almost beyond recognition in the late 1940s with a radial engine, modified tail, stretched fuselage and cockpit canopy, the aircraft has now been restored to it's original configuration.
