This He111P from Kampfstaffel 5./II./KG 4 flew from Fornebu to Åndalsnes on 25 April 1940. Above Romsdalsfjord it was hit and damaged by AA-fire from HMS Manchester, and shortly after, it was attacked by two Skuas from HMS Ark Royal. The pilot made a forced landing in the snow at mountain Digervarden. The aircraft, being in quite good shape, was recovered in 1976 and restored in original condition.
