One of many tall-tail B-52s held at AMARC in 1987. This aircraft was later preserved in the Heritage Park at Davis-Monthan AFB but by 2011 it was decided that it could no longer be maintained there, so it was scrapped. The tail-turret section was given to the nearby Pima Air and Space Museum. The aircraft behind '659 here is serial 55-104, which arrived in May 1982 and was eventually broken up.
