During our visit in May 2017, the 176th Fighter Squadron had a mix of F-16 tails in its inventory, two Colorado ANG aircraft, two Vermont ANG aircraft, all in full marks of their former owner. There were several unmarked F-16s, and of course the fully marked F-16s of the squadron itself. Some were furnished with a Badger tail, some carried the distinctive 'WI' tailcode, and even those were deviant from eachother: light grey and black markings. And check the difference between the Wisconsin fin on top of the vertical tail. The squadron is now flying F-35As.
