In remembrance of heroes of the Soviet Union, Ismailbek Taranchiev and Alexei Tkachev, this MiG-21bis has been put on a pedestal at the Besh-Kungeyskaya Srednyaya Shkola. Besh-Kungoy was the birthplace of Taranchiev, who crashed their Il-2 into a German military column, after it was hit on the eastern front on 18 March 1944.
