On 12 October 2022, this Sukhoi Su-24MR (tail number 59 yellow) was shot down near Zhorzhivka, Myrhorod Raion, Poltava Oblast. The aircraft, part of the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade, was hit by a SAM. The crew attempted to return to base, but the aircraft crashed.
