The LASA-60 was the production version of the Lockeed L-402 Bushmaster. Lockheed decided after two prototypes, to build the aircraft in Mexico as the LASA-60. The ninth LASA-60 built flew as XB-LEH, and became N1601L in 1964 to serve with NASA for Omega Navigator-project, Flight Research Lab Forrestal Camp, Princeton, NJ. After service it went to the Aviation Hall of Fame after service. This photo is copyright © Wim Sonneveld, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
