The Model D series Waco was produced in very limited numbers with most going to the military air arms in Latin America. Uruguay (JHD), Nicaragua (WHD) and Cuba (S2HD). None of these survive but the sole S3HD NC14048, the only civilian Model D produced, was acquired by its current owner in 2013 and now based in Illinois, is a welcome sight at fly-ins across the US.
