Originally built for Malaysian Airlines as 9M-MJG in 1991, it then went on to fly for operators including, Carnival, Pan American Airways and Olympic airlines. It was converted into a freighter in 2011, and became part of the AirworkNZ fleet in 2012. Currently, Airwork flies a lot of freight flights for QANTAS Freight.
