A total of 649 T-33As were diverted from USAF production and were redesignated from TV-2 to T-33B in 1962, but they were identical to the Air Force version and used as land-based trainers. This one was operated by Marine Corps Headquarters at Andrews AFB until1975 when it went into storage at Davis Monthan.
