Interesting configuation of this Mexican navy CASA 212, which was delivered as C212-200 MP-412, and subsequently reserialled to MP-512. Upgraded to C212-400 with winglets, but kept the short nose of the C212-200, and again reserialled to AMP-116, when the Mexican navy introduced a new serial system around 2003. Since 2018 it is preserved at the Centro de Capacitación y Adiestramiento Especializado de Infantería de Marina (CCAEIM) de la Armada de México, in Champotón, Campeche state.
