A-001 was present for a week-long squadron rotation with the Dutch 315sq that operated NF-5A/B's. A-001 was therefore zapped with a 315sq badge on its tail. A-001 made its first flight on 29 January 1970 and was delivered to the Royal Danish Air Force on 26 April 1971. Its started to serve Eskadron 725 at Karup. Esk 725 was disbanded on 1 January 1994. A-001 made its last flight on 21 January 1990 and was preserved in the Flyvemuseum at Billund on 14 April 1992. It was moved to to Helsingør museum in May 1999 and eventually transferred to Flyvehistoriske Museum at Værløse in April 2021.
