First flown as a GR1 on 8 August 1984 and delivered to the RAF on 13 September 1984. It was delivered to RAF Bruggen (Germany) and assigned to 31 Sqn on 2 November 1984. It saw combat operations in support of Operation Granby/Gulf War in 1991 and was deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Herrick in 2011.
