Registered as a PA-18-135, this aircraft was one of a batch of 355 L-21Bs supplied to European nations under the Mutual Defense Assistance Program (MDAP) in the early 1950s, in this case to the Italian Army where it became serial MM 54-2641, its US military serial, and has been restored in the colours it wore at that time.
