Some warbird owners vehemently deny that their plane, with only an original c/n plate or a few small parts, is a replica. Having a new designation, the Lycoming-powered Yak-9UM makes no false claims of being completely authentic. This aircraft even says 'Replica' on the canopy frame, although I'd say it is an original UM. It also wears the text 'Москва' (Moscow). Soviet WWII aircraft often wore slogans in this fashion, rather than names.
