India received 124 Mi-8T helicopters between 1971 and 1988, 107 of which entered service with the Indian Air Force. This wreckage was delivered between 1979 and 1988. The Mi-8T was officially phased out by the Indian Air Force on 17 December 2017. It is not clear what happened with this 2342. It was last reported at Yelahanka (already as a wreck) by the Soviet Transports Data Files in February 2011.
