Acquired new in 1975 by country-pop singer John Denver who created the company called Windstar Aviation to operate it (logo on cowling). On 2 February 2012, under different ownership, the aircraft was wrecked attempting to take off in snowy conditions with a cross-wind, at Pueblo, Colorado.
