Founded in 1999 and rebranded in 2017 by introducing a new logo and livery, Bluebird Nordic currently operates nine B737 freighters (one -300, seven -400 and one -800). As an Icelandic airline, Bluebird Nordic is authorized to operate without restrictions within the European Union. TF-BBL is a 1997 built aircraft and has previously flown as N792AS with Alaska Airlines. It was converted to freighter in 2017 and joined Bluebird Nordic in March 2018.
