The Pirat was a very successful glider design used for advanced training with a total of 813 produced and exported to some 25 countries. This example is the second prototype that was first flown during August 1966. It is obviously of valuable historical importance and so was purchased for the museum in November 2020 from the Polish Airlines Aero Club. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
