This Skyhawk was stored at AMARC from June 1978 to March 1980 (inventory code 3A525). The US Navy showed interest again in the hot rod and brought it back to live via NARF Pensacola (FL). Its final assignment was with the adversary squadron VF-126 "Bandits" and flew from NAS Miramar up to the late ninetees. It was last seen in 1993 at the dump of Miramar. Current fate unknown.
