this MiG-21 used to be the gate guard at the Russian air base at Kluczewo in Poland. When the base cloded in 1992 the airframe was transported to Twenthe and restored using parts obtained from the German air force. When Twenthe closed its doors the aircraft was handed over to the military museum in Soesterberg.
