RAF Leuchars is still activedespite the last Typhoons moving to RAF Lossiemouth early that September. The base hosts most of the bizjet traffic for the Dunhill Links Championship held at the nearby golf courses in Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and St Andrews. This Legacy was photographed just after a heavy autumn shower hence the dramatic skies in the background.
