Photo taken at San Francisco Airport (now SFO) on August 13, 1955. This was a memorable day that has never been repeated for me. A whole bunch of USAF transports flew in for the annual Air Force Association convention. There were C-46s, C-47s and C-54s and most had special markings. That was in the "good 'ole days" when you could roam around the airport without being bothered. This photo is copyright © William T.
