A Super Puma operated by Air Center Helicopters (small logo on the cowling) flares for landing at a remote training site in the Arizona desert during exercise Angel Thunder 2017. Air Center had recently acquired a fleet of H215s for contract rescue/medevac work with the US military and was using the exercise to validate the concept of civilian rescue support for military forces with small footprints in remote locations, like central Africa, where the company was later awarded a contract supporting USSOCOM forces in the region.
