Alitalia took delivery of this MD-82 in July 1994 and used it until June 2010. It then flew with Bulgarian Air Charter for just one Summer, moving on to Ararat Int'l Airlines in September. They passed it on to Kish one month later as EK-82226 and in August 2011, it entered the Iranian register.
