Homebuilt Little Toot designer ‬George W‭. ‬Meyer‭ made some preliminary drawings of a new two seat Big Toot before he died of cancer in 1982. His son, Tommy, began fulfilling his father's vision in 2003 with Big Toot's development of the similarly configured, but much larger design. With the first flight on June 6, 2018, the aircraft made an appearance at Oshkosh in 2019.
