These monsters were frequently seen in the 1960s overflying westbound from Mildenhall (EGUN). The deep never-to-be-forgotten sound they made could rattle the windows from 25,000 feet up. This one went to MASDC in 1970 and was scrapped by 1974. This photo was added on 25 March 2021, and has since been viewed 519 times. |
