Retired to MASDC in 1974, declared surplus in 1975 and sold onto the civil market in 1976. Initial operators were Pacific Alaska, K&C Corp as N666G, and Mark Air Transport. Converted to DC-6A standard, and taken over in 1981 by DHL Cargo, who re-registered it as N105DH in 1983. Then to Pacific Air Express in 1984, and Trans Airlink in 1986. Final operator from the end of 1986 was Servicios Aereos Generales, with registration HR-AKT. Scrapped around 1990.
