Operator is Longtail Aviation. Logo commemorates 50 years of the Boeing 747. This particular frame has a rich history which includes service with Singapore Airlines 9V-SMI, Air India VT-AIQ, and after conversion to freighter, Martinair Holland PH-MPQ, Air Cargo Germany D-ACGC and Ruby Star EW-511TQ. Joined Longtail Aviation in Nov 2020. When it departed MST, a few hours later, soon after departure the number one engine exploded with parts raining down on a village near the airport which caused some damage to vehicles and property. The aircraft went into the hold to dump fuel and then diverted to Liege, owing to its much longer runway, where it made a safe and uneventful landing.
