Combining a stroll through the woods with the hobby. Painted to represent a downed Spitfire, but its former registration is still faintly shining through. The aircraft was put there sometime after January 2015 as a reference to the fake airfield that the Nazi's built there, to distract the allied bombers from the nearby airfield at Havelte. In its former life, the aircraft was operated by the Rijksluchtvaartschool (RLS), until it suffered a gear-up landing at Texel (EHTX) in 1972 and was written off. The location is right near the second entrance to the woods (as seen on Google Maps).
