The old terminal at Atlanta could be extremely busy at times. Here six of Southern Airways DC 9 are on their ramp whilst Eastern Airways DC 9, Boeing 727 and Tristars taxy past. When flying in on one occasion the Captain described the airport as 'The combat zone' with aircraft to be seen everywhere.
