The 162nd Tactical Fighter Squadron converted from F-100D to A-7D from January 1978. In May 1993 the 162nd hosted a farewell to the A-7D Corsair II and transitioned to F-16C/D. Here a SLUF is being towed in front of the 178th Tactical Fighter Group hangar near the 162nd TFS flightline.
