Retired by Everts Air Cargo in 2016, this aircraft made its final flight from Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs Airport on October 2, 2016. Three large steel pylons were erected during the summer of 2018 and the aircraft was hoisted in place atop them. I asked some folks working at the resort what the plans were for the aircraft and was told that it might be used for a zip line or outfitted as a cocktail lounge. If they make it into a cocktail lounge, for sure they're going to have to install an elevator! This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
