LagunAir was born in 2003 as a project from the Consorcio Aeropuerto de León. In its first fase operated mainly from León, Valladolid and Salamanca to Barcelona, Valencia and Palma with Saab 340. It ceased operations in january 2005 but reopened in march with a different investor, more destinations (Málaga, Alicante, Jerez, Menorca and Ibiza) and three Embraer 145 to replace the 4 Saabs. It finally declared bankrupcy in 2008. This photo is copyright © Toni Marimón, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
