Painted up for this Lockheed publicity photo with the fake registration NC70000. It had originally been delivered to the USAAF, then used by TWA for crew training with the civil registration NC54214 (also as NX54214) . Passed back to the USAAF and finally sold to TWA (as N54214) in August 1951 with just 180 hours on the clock.
