This is former USAF F-4C 64-0864. It was delivered to Spain in September 1972. Although it looks in splendid condition here, it was actually standing in a long row of Phantoms that had just been wfu in February 1989, so just a few months before our visit to Torrejon. This aircraft survived and is now preserved at Torrejon with the Spanish Air Force Air Experimentation and Development unit CLAEX.
