I don't think there's ever been a more aptly named aircraft than the "Tunnan" - Swedish for Barrel. The aircraft was one of four indigenous Saab-built fast jets which took part in the Scottish Airshow at the joint venues of seafront at Ayr and the nearby Prestwick Airport. Operated by the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight, a civilian-run organisation dedicated to the preservation of various aircraft types flown by the Swedish Air Force.
