Northway Aviation ran a scheduled service from Winnipeg to points north along the shores of Lake Winnipeg using three Britten-Norman Islanders. These two came to a sticky end: SGK was wrecked landing on an ice strip in 1995 and MOW burned on the ground while loading up bulk fuel in 2002.
