Six early BV 138 'Flying Clog' flying boats were used as transport aircraft during the German invasion of Norway. This aircraft is seen landing troops at Sundsbukta near Hemnesberget, It was sunk here by a British destroyer according to the photographer, which would make it NG-UC, not NG-UD which was shot down nearby in the Ranfjord.
