A commercial verison of the N2C Fledgling trainer for the US Navy, the Model 51 was used principally by the manufacturer's own Curtiss Flying Service as a rather primitive air taxi in the early 1930s. The company livery was orange and yellow. This photo is copyright © Peter de Jong, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
