Had a great flight over the arid wastes of Kazakhstan on this An-24 as part of a journey from Novosibirsk to Almaty. We stopped at Karaganda and promptly changed planes to another of the three Tulpar An-24s (UN-47763, behind) to complete the trip — two for the price of one! This 1967 example was noted engineless here at Karaganda in 10.08; b/u 9.10
