Operated in full Régional Airlines colours and titles by Regional Líneas Aéreas (RGN/XG), a joint venture of Spanish Gestair and French Regional Compagnie Aerienne created in 1996 with this Saab 340 (temporary registration was EC-158). This aircraft was written off when landing at Oporto Runway 35 in a flight from Madrid (Wednesday 14 May 1997) after a misunderstanding on works taking place on the mentioned runway. The other aircraft from the Spanish Regional was EC-GMI, transferred from the matrix company in February 1997 and returned in November of the same year.
