Three weeks after this photo was taken, on May 10, N802DK was written off after the pilot got into a spin while on a local flight from Bankstown airport, Sydney, Australia. The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System was deployed and N802DK came down in a suburban garden. Those on board were slightly injured but the aircraft was wrecked.
