This F-104G, actually owned by the German Luftwaffe with shadow serial "20+23", was transferred later to the Republic of China Air Force in 1983 where it flew with serial "4370". On October 3rd, 1991 it was lost when it crashed into the sea at 5:58 PM after an engine flame-out due to a mechanical malfunction. Photographer unknown.
