The IA-41 Urubú is a tailless, two-seat side-by-side flying wing glider, built by the Fábrica Militar de Aviones (FMA) of Argentina starting in 1951.

Hungarocopter was created in Verpelét in 2007 with the aim of developing a widely available ultralight helicopter. In 2010 the experimental, single-seat HC-01 was completed and this has now been developed into two-seat HC-02. Pictured returning to its landing pad after a very nice display at this show. ,

The second prototype of the Chase XG-20 assault glider was rebuilt as the XC-123A, America's first jet transport aircraft, first flown on 21 April 1951. An agricultural aircraft designed by Fábrica Militar de Aviones (FMA), the Mamboreta was not taken into series production and only three were ever built. It made its first flight in 1966.

The prototype of an intelligence gathering aircraft designed as an optionally piloted vehicle (OPV), built by Scaled Composites as the Model 355. Although Northrop Grumman announced that the aircraft was "in production for an un-named US Government service, to whom deliveries were scheduled to begin before mid 2019", the project was formally cancelled in April 2022. The possibility of future production remains, however.

The example shown here in the "weeds" was one of two of the type operated by a pilot school run by William H. Engle and trading as Silver Star Aircraft Service. (Note: Fairchild took over the Challenger series and retroactively gave the model number KR-31 to the C-2, despite not building any.)

Built in 1929 specifically to compete in the Guggenheim Safe Aircraft Competition, which it won (controversially). It was equipped with automatic wing leading edge slots, full-span wing flaps and floating ailerons on the lower wing that automatically adjusted themselves parallel to the airflow. The combination of these devices gave the Tanager a stalling speed of 31 mph and allowed it to land in only 90 ft. On 19 July 1930 it was destroyed on the ground when flames from its engine set the grass alight at Cleveland/OH.

Naval Utility Helicopter intended for shipboard use on static display as a technology demonstrator at Aero India 2019. It features Automatic Rotor Blades Folding (ARBF) and a folding tail rotor section.

A single remaining frame is all that is left of 41 FMA Ae.M.O.1 observation aircraft built.

This flying wing glider was designed by German designer Reimar Horten. The IA-34M single seater, of which only two were built, participated in the 1952 World Gliding Championship in Spain painted in the colours of Argentinian flag and achieved the 4th place.

The Fleetwings (officially Kaiser-Fleetwings by now) Model 44 was a dive bomber designed for the US Navy to replace the Curtiss Helldiver. Here the prototype is returning from an early (possibly first) test flight which took place on 12 April 1945 piloted by William H. Engle. It is landing on one of the new paved runways at Fleetwings Field which the USN had built in support of the BTK-1 project. The engine was a P&W R-2800-22W giving 2400 hp and a novel design feature was an exhaust pump engine cooling system. This proved unsatisfactory and was eventually replaced with conventional cowl flaps. Collection holder William Engle is the son of Fleetwings test pilot William H. Engle.
