Arriving for the last International Air Tattoo at Greenham Common. Built for the RAF as a Canberra PR.9 in 1959. Modified to an SC.9 by Shorts in 1960 and used for missile trials. To the Battle Damage Repair Flight at St Mawgan in 1986 and sold for scrap in 1992. Nose section saved and moved to Italy in 1999.

Built as a PR9, and converted by Short for trials and research use. Flown from RAE Bedford to RAF St Mawgan on 24 September 1986 for use by the BDRF as 8915M. It was never used as such, and despite attempts by several individuals and groups to preserve it, the aircraft was sold for scrap to Henry Orchard, St Austell, in 1992. The nose section was rescued by Albino Panigarri and shipped to Italy.

Heavily modified from a PR9 Canberra, the aircraft was used by the RRE (Radar Research Establishment) as a trials aircraft throughout its life. The nose section still exists today in Italy.

At static display during IAT 1983; Was modified by Short from a Canberra PR 9 for radar research test bed. Served with RAE Bedford during the 80's .
