MHD Rockland is building a P-3C aircrew training center at Keystone Airpark and recently acquired five former Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) AP-3Cs. Former RAAF A9-662 was registered N662JD on December 11, 2018 and departed RAAF Base Edinburgh for the U.S. on December 14th along with former RAAF A9-661/N661MK. The aircraft staged through Pago Pago, Hawaii, New Mexico on their journey to Florida. All five aircraft were parked at the airport during my January 16, 2019 visit and all appeared to be in excellent condition.

The aircraft staged through Pago Pago, Hawaii, New Mexico on its journey to Florida. Just shutting down the outers on arrival for static display at the Australian International Airshow. This aircraft was built as a P-3C and allocated the USN Bu 162664 for administrative purposes. It initially carried the Lockheed flight-test reg N64854 before delivery to the RAAF as A9-664 on 30 April 1986, the second-last RAAF P-3C. Later converted to AP-3C standard. Currently with 92 Wing based at RAAF Edinburgh.
