United Arab Airlines operated this Ex Northwest DC-6 from October 1964 to March 1968. This airframe ended up as a sort of flight simulator in November 2005 at Germiston - Johannesburg.

Became TC-55 with Argentina -Air Force. Written off on 7th November 1968 after landing short of the runway at Mar del Plata, Argentina

Delivered to KLM as PH-TFL in 1952. Reregistered as PH-DFL in 1954. To Adria as YU-AFF in 1962 and preserved at Ljubljana from 1972.

Delivered to Pan American as DC-6B N6525C in 1952. Converted to a DC-6A/B in 1963. To Trans Mediterranean Airways as OD-AEU in 1967. Sold as N41840 in 1973. To Zantop in 1974. Antarctic Air in 1989 and Legion Express in 1996. Last noted at Opa Locka in 1998. Sold in 1999. Registration cancelled in 2002.

Delivered to Pan American Grace Airways as N6537C in 1952. To the Taiwan Air Force as C-43536 in 1962. Later 43536. Preserved at the Taiwan Air Force museum by 1995.

Delivered to KLM as PH-TFM in 1952. Reregistered as PH-DFM in 1954. Sold as N7919C in 1959. To Overseas National Airways in 1960, Reeve Aleutian Airways in 1965 and Northern Air Cargo in 1978. To Everts Air Fuel in 2005 and used as a ground engine test aircraft.

Delivered to Sabena 6 May 1953. Damaged beyond repair at Málaga 20 December 1970.

Douglas DC-6B, C-GHLY was acquired by Conair from Delta Air Transport in Belgium. It's seen here being painted on July 6, 1975 with No. 46 on the tail prior to the installation of an external belly tank. Previous with Northwest Orient Airlines (N581) and Kar-Air in Finland (OH-KDB), it joining DAT in 1992 as OO-EVG and later OO-VGE. Conair's first DC-6Bs were ex-PWA CF-PWA (Tanker 41) and CF-PWF (tanker 42) bought in 1972 & fitted with 2,500 imp gal tanks. No. 41 crashed Aug 2, 1974, but many more DC-6s were purchased for fire contracts in BC, the NWT, Alaska etc. To Alaska in 2014 as N651CE.

Delivered to Swissair as HB-IBA in 1951. To Sterling Airways as OY-EAO in 1962. Sold as N515EA in 1973. To Sis-Q Flying Service as N999SQ in 1976 and converted to a fire bomber. To Macavia International in 1985 then to T & G Aviation in 1991 and Everts Air Fuel in 1994 and used for parts at Fairbanks. Nose section preserved. The rest of the fuselage remained in Everts storage yard.
