There are three larger propliners along the runway at Pucallpa, this should be PT-JAS (fake registration) or previously HK-2665, impounted over 25 years ago for illegal transports. Still a large problem in this part of Peru. Picture taken from a passenger flight departing Pucallpa for Iquitos.

Ex USAAF 44-76488, delivered on 19 Mar'45, 2 days later to RAF Montreal as KN397 on where it ended up with 12MU at Oakington on 8 Sep'47. It became G-AMSV in May'52, then N347DK in Feb'08. Sold to Rajeev Chandrasekhar in 2011 and donated by him to the Indian AF Vintage Flight at AFS Hindon on 13 Feb'18. It received serial VP905, the same as the first C-47 in Indian service that transported the troops in 1947. It departed the UK on delivery to India on 17 Apr'18, arriving there on 26 Apr'18. It is named Parashurama, the sixth avatar among the Dashavatara of the preserver god Vishnu in Hinduism

Built as 43-49744, to RCAF as KN201 in January 1945 and re-serialled 12903 in June 1970. Registered N46938 in May 1977, initially with Basler Flight Service and later Alpha Airlines. Returned to Basler in 1983 and was one of two sold by them to Malawi in September 1990. Both were withdrawn at Zomba Air Base by 2004 and 76-21 has since been placed on display.

Advertising the Blue Max Restaurant in downtown Bellingham. No registration carried. Ultimate fate unknown to me.

Built as 42-93459 for the USAAF, to the RAF as KG614 in May 1944. To Argentina in December 1946 as LV-ACE with ZONDA and Aerolineas Aeroposta in January 1950. With Aerolineas Argentinas November 1950 - June 1966 and then to the Argentine AF as VR-14. Re serialled as T-104 in 1975 and withdrawn from service in December 1990.

G-AGND, after lease to Cyprus Airways it joined the fleet of Bahamas Airways in the mid-60s as VP-BBT, later regs. were HC-AXP and TI-AXG, became N1021G with Lake Wales Air Services Inc. Aug 1980, reg. was cancelled late 2012

K25 slide scan. Built 1944 as TC-47B 44-76812 for USAAF, transferred to USN as R4D-7 99828. Civilianized as N3454G, later reregistered N66, N49966 and finally N145JR with Rhoades. Cancelled 1994, derelict Nashville, TN.

Delivered to the USAAF as 43-49601 in 1944 then to the RAF as KK171 in 1945. To the Hellenic Air Force as KK171 in 1947. Crashed on takeoff at Tatoi in 1991. Remains on the dump.
