For just over 12 months in 1970/71, Westward Airways operated a daily flight to Heathrow from Plymouth and - as advertised - the Heathrow-Gatwick shuttle. It was damaged beyond repair in a landing accident at Cark, Cumbria, on 5 February 1994 while operated by North West Parachute Centre.

To Colombia with Empressa Narinense de Aviación as HK-1241 in August 1971, Sold to Líneas Aereas La Urraca in January 1972 and with SAETA - Servicios Aéreos del Meta y Territorios Nacionales by 1988. Short lived airline Caribena Colombia bought the aircraft in 1992 to operate alongside a pair of BN2A-3 Trislanders but all were soon withdrawn at Villavicencio. The Trislanders lingered on for many years but the fate of the Islander is uncertain.
